Got questions?

We get asked these most often

Do I need a referral?

No. You can choose to pay privately, or use private health care cover if you have it.

If you do want to claim a Medicare rebate however, you do. Fortunately it's pretty straightforward. Simply book a longer appointment with your GP and let them know what’s been going on for you. They’ll talk through your situation, put together a plan, and give you a referral which allows you to claim up to 10 subsidised sessions a year.

We process the rebate for you. It is fine if the referral is addressed to another psychologist.

How much does a session cost?

Fees are $310 for a 50 minute session, and $195 for a 30 minute session. Our fees remain lower than the recommended rate advised by the Australian Psychological Society (APS). We absorb the credit card transaction fee.

If you have a Mental Health Referral, you will receive a Medicare rebate of $101 for a 50 min session

How long are sessions?

Sessions are 50 minutes long.  On occasion people book a double session.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes. While we understand there will be exceptional circumstances occasionally, please provide as much notice as possible when cancelling an appointment.

  • Cancellations with less than 1 business day's notice of the session start time will be charged 100% of the fee if the spot cannot be filled.

  • Cancellations within 1-2 business day's notice of the session start time will be charged 50% if the spot cannot be filled. Business days are 8am-4pm Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

Please note that you cannot claim a Medicare or private health insurance rebate for cancellation fees.

Where can I find you? Is it accessible?

You can find us here. Please note we are located on level 1 and there is no lift sorry.
